Business is tough, the economy is about to go through an interesting phase and so there is a lot of uncertainty in our world at present.
As a Christian in business, are you bringing your business before God? Do you find a time each day to just stop and sit with your Creator and give Him not only your business, but your life?
As either business owners, or those in management, we face a raft of challenges – many of which we do not have the answers for. Our minds and knowledge is limited to what we know, or what information we can source. We face pressures and stresses that can see many end up with addictions to manage the pain, when there is One just waiting in the wings to help us.
When you think of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch and co, these amazingly brilliant men were created by the same God as you were. There is no situation or challenge God cannot handle in your life.
In addition, what about tapping in to His creativity so that you’re not just solving problems and ‘putting out fires’, but you’re coming up with new ideas and strategies that may bring in new forms of revenue?
Daily, I ask God for ideas and opportunities, as I know one of the best ways to fund my business for the future is not just in getting sales today and managing the clients we have now, but in also implementing new products and services that allow us to stand out from the competition. i need divine help though to get these ideas, and that is where time spent with God unlocks these.
If you’re not doing it already, I encourage you to make God your business partner. Bring Him right into your office, starting today. Pray for new business, pray for ideas and opportunities and see Him bless you in what you have been called to do.
You’re not doing what you are by accident and God wants to see us use our work as our ministry. He deeply cares about your business and wants to help… if you’ll just let Him.
